Cristiano Ronaldo is continuing to stay in quarantine in his Madeira home once it is confirmed positive coronavirus for Juventus team-mate Daniele Rugani.
Ronaldo flew to his homeland to take visit his mother, who was suffered from a stroke in recent times.
Ronaldo was sharing the dressing room with Rugani on Sunday when Juventus won over Inter Milan 2-0 behind closed doors.
The picture sent on Instagram recently by Miralem Pjanic when the game is finished shows Ronaldo and Rugani celebrating the win in the same group together with the team-mates very closely.
Everyone who came to interact with Rugani is now asked to be in isolation and go for required medical care.
For a good news to confirm the spread is quite limited is Rugani was kept an unused standby player for Maurizio Sarri on the Juventus bench.
The Portuguese press has covered the story over their front pages with Quotidiano Sportivo and Abola both with the headlines about Ronaldo being in separation and sent for the disinfection process.
And it is good to know that all the sport events in Italy are turned-off until at least around April 3 as with this coronavirus outbreak. But Juventus are fixed the plan to face Lyon in the Champions League next Tuesday.
The game is scheduled to be played behind closed doors. But as the threat is viral, this is widely possible to be put off by UEFA.
Hannover 96 defender Timo Hubers is the first professional football player under the threat of Coronavirus which made Rugani the second professional footballer to test positive with Coronavirus.
And here taking Twitter he has written: “You will have read the news and that’s why I want to reassure all those who are worrying about me, I’m fine”
And for further he was saying, “I urge everyone to respect the rules because this virus makes no distinctions! Let’s do it for ourselves, for our loved ones and for those around us.”
Ronaldo came back from his mother’s bedside to play on Sunday formerly him returning to Madeira. And when he was informed of Rugani’s positive test for Coronavirus and he is now enforced separation
And by far the worst affected European nation is Italy where more than 800 people are reported victims of the illness and required to respect the rules in order to break this speedy spread-over.
